We are looking for a Sales & Account Manager to expand existing partnerships and further grow Congress by design. You are a connector at heart and enjoy representing our agency with your broad knowledge of the (international) association market. You are responsible for maintaining contacts with the existing network, acquiring new projects, developing plans in collaboration with the Operations Director, and establishing and expanding long-term partnerships.



Are you the sparkling connector?

For this versatile role, we are looking for a candidate with the following background and competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of education;
  • Experience in account management, sales, and the world of association congresses.
  • Mid-level/senior professional who wants to take the next step in your career;
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and have a knack for new business;
  • Excel in building and maintaining relationships at every level;
  • You take responsibility for your accounts and work on establishing and expanding long-term relationships and contract clients;
  • Broad interests and open minded;
  • Practical and flexible attitude, strong communication skills, and a professional appearance;
  • You don't have a 9 to 5 mentality and you understand that in a small organisation, hands-on action may be necessary;
  • You enjoy the combination of office work and being out of the office at meetings with clients, etc (60-40 ratio);
  • Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages is a must.
  • You work independently and as part of a team

The position is for 32-40 hours per week, with a company car at your disposal. Remote work is possible, but with the understanding that building relationships and successful collaboration often happens on location.
